The Ningxia Minning 100MW/200MWh grid-forming shared energy storage project, a core initiative under the national “Green Electricity Town” strategy, pioneered the “PV, Wind, Storage & Charging + Seamless Grid Connection/Disconnection” mode. By dynamically adjusting storage charge and discharge strategies, the project enables daytime absorption of surplus renewable energy and segmented night-time power supply, providing 24-hour green electricity coverage for the entire Minning Town while supporting peak-time dispatching of the Ningxia power grid. Its deep SGLS coordination technology positions Minning as the nation’s first demonstration area of a 24-hour all-green electricity system, offering a model for new power system pilot zones across China.
